Architectural steel gates, fencing and balustrades — designed, manufactured and finished in-house. Engineered in Australia. Built to a single standard, on every project.
The first gate your visitors walk through. The fence line that defines the boundary of what is yours. The balustrade your hand rests on at the top of the stairs.
These are the details a proud home is built from. They deserve more than aluminium. They deserve more than a catalogue. They deserve to be specified, engineered and finished to a documented standard — in solid Australian steel.
Design, fabrication, finishing and despatch — controlled end-to-end, by the same team, on every project.
Most steel suppliers are assemblers. Components are imported, profiles are subcontracted, finishing is outsourced, and a sales desk handles the call. Tolerances drift. Standards slip. Accountability scatters.
Mason & Dean is built differently.
Every gate, fence panel and balustrade is drawn in our Australian design studio, fabricated in our manufacturing facility, powder-coated to architectural standards in-house, and despatched nationwide — to the same tolerances, the same finish, every time. When you call, you speak directly to specialists who know your product inside out.
Aluminium is a fraction of the weight of steel — and a fraction of the strength. Timber rots, splits and needs repainting every few years. Architectural Australian steel, welded and properly finished, just keeps doing its job — quietly, for decades.
Genuine architectural steel sections, specified to weight and tolerance. Heavier in the hand, stiffer in the wind, longer-lasting in the weather — the difference is real, and you feel it the moment you touch it.
Every joint is welded, ground smooth and finished to spec. No visible fixings. A single, solid piece that feels the way real steel should.
Architectural powder-coat finishes chosen for how they weather — not how they sell. The look gets quieter, never cheaper.

A big thanks to the team — we love our new fence and feel a million bucks every time we click the button. So many comments from people who have driven past.
Our compliments to yourself and the crew for the gate. It exceeded our expectations and we are very happy with the result.
Mason & Dean were fantastic to work with from start to finish. The team were professional, detail-focused and clearly take a lot of pride in their work. The quality of the fabrication is excellent and the finished result is a real standout — we started getting compliments straight away from neighbours. Every call was answered professionally and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. It's rare to deal with a company that delivers both great craftsmanship and great service.

No. Our products are designed to make installation straightforward for any competent person. A selection of fixings is available on our website — if the ones suited to your application aren’t listed, any hardware store can supply them. For complex sites — sloped ground, retaining walls, structural balustrades — we recommend engaging a qualified builder or fencing contractor.
Absolutely. Our products are widely installed by builders, landscapers and fencing contractors across Australia. If you'd like a copy of specifications or installation notes to share with your contractor, we're happy to provide them.
