Every Hasting Privacy Screen is welded in our Tamworth workshop — frame, slats, hidden connections — one rigid piece. No plastic locking plugs. No spacer blocks. No clip-and-fit channels that loosen the first time the wind hits them.

Horizontal slats. Read as architecture.

50 × 10 RHS horizontal slats, 10mm spacings — the same architectural rhythm running through the Hasting fence panels and gates. Specify the screen on its own, or carry the line across the whole property as a single designed gesture.

Privacy without rattle, without fade.

Steel slats welded into a steel frame don't pop, click or hum in the wind. Four-stage bonded powder coat doesn't chalk or fade through the first summer. The screen still reads the same the morning your kids leave home as it did the day it went in.

Walk down any new street and you'll see them — those thin aluminium slat panels clipped into channel posts beside the pool pump, the bin bay, the deck edge. They do the job for a season. Then the wind finds them. The plastic plugs work loose. The slats start to hum. The frame ticks in the sun. And the first time someone reaches over the top, the whole panel flexes like a tray.

The Hasting Privacy Screen isn't that. It's a welded steel panel — 38 × 25 RHS frame, 50 × 10 RHS horizontal slats, every joint welded shut by hand and finished in a four-stage bonded powder coat. There are no clips. No plugs. No channels for slats to slide around inside. Touch one slat and the whole panel answers as a single piece of steel — the way a real architectural detail is supposed to feel.
