Built for the weight of real steel

A welded steel double gate is heavy — and a hinge is the one component carrying all of it, every single day. The Goliath is rated to a maximum holding weight of 150kg and a maximum closing weight of 150kg, so the gate keeps swinging true instead of dropping, dragging and scuffing its way out of alignment.

Supplied as a matched pair

Each purchase includes one left-hand and one right-hand hinge — the pair a double gate needs, with nothing to work out and nothing to order twice. Both hinges are powder coated together, so the finish matches across the entrance.

Finished to disappear into the gate

Powder coated in your choice of colour to match your gate, posts and fence. The entrance reads as one considered piece of steel — not a gate with hardware bolted onto it.

Allow a 20mm gap between the gate post and the gate side when setting out for the Goliath Hinge. Getting this right at post-setting stage is what gives you a clean, even swing from the very first open.
