This is a 90 × 90 × 2mm galvanised Australian steel post with a zinc-plated 190 × 190 × 12mm base plate, supplied as a complete kit — cap, bolts and all — ready to carry fencing, balustrades, privacy screens and gates, and hold every one of them exactly where you set it.

Structure

A run is only ever as true as the posts behind it — fencing, balustrade, privacy screen or gate alike. Ours are cut from 90 × 90 × 2mm galvanised Australian steel and paired with a 190 × 190 × 12mm zinc-plated base plate — a genuinely solid footprint with 4 × 14mm holes, sized for real bolt-down loads on concrete. No flex, no lean, no slow drift out of line.

Every post arrives ready to install: a colour-matched snap-on post cap finished in the same powder coat as your panels, and four dyna bolts included. No hardware run mid-install, no mismatched black cap on a Surfmist run. The detail that finishes the job is already in the box.

Post size is a structural decision, not a style one. Taller and wider panels carry more wind load, and gates carry more again — so both the section and the length change with the job. Here is how our post lengths line up with our standard panel heights.

Installation

Straightforward, Even First Time

Position the post where it needs to sit and bring it plumb with a level. Mark your fixing points through the base plate, drill your holes, then fix down with the dyna bolts supplied. Check plumb once more, tighten evenly, and snap the colour-matched cap into place.

That's it. And if anything about your site is unusual — a slope, a tight boundary, an awkward corner — call us before you start. We'd rather spend ten minutes on the phone than have you buy twice.
