Safetech TopKlik SHG-90 self-closing hinges with their patented tension adjustment system — 70kg maximum holding weight, 45kg maximum closing weight, pool safe to Australian Standards, and suited to gaps anywhere from 4mm to 27mm. Supplied as a pair in black or white with the allen key included.

Tension you set by hand, with one allen key

Safetech self-closing hinges are the only gate hinges on the market with their patented tension adjustment system. Once the hinge is in place, every adjustment is made with a single allen key — which we supply. Turn it clockwise to increase tension, and the system gives a defined CLICK so you know exactly how far you've gone. No guesswork, no removing the gate, no starting again.

Rustproof, and built to stay that way

Crafted from glass fibre-reinforced polymer with stainless steel springs and rust-resistant materials throughout, engineered for bind-free operation with no lubrication required. UV stabilised so the finish resists fading in full Australian sun — on the gate that gets used twenty times a day, for years.

No legs, so the gap is yours to set

The SHG-90 is the legless model — it fixes flat to the post, so it suits any gap from 4mm right through to 27mm. That flexibility is what makes it the easy choice on retrofits and existing gates where the gap is already set. Rated pool safe to Australian Standards, 70kg maximum holding weight and 45kg maximum closing weight, in black or white as a matched pair.
